Blizzard Celebrates the World of Warcraft Launch Friday, December 10, 2004 |
 | |
The historic launch of World of Warcraft was a wonderful and joyous occasion for everyone at
Blizzard Entertainment. To celebrate the launch, the entire staff at Irvine gathered outside the
offices today to join in a champagne toast of the event. It was a time to congratulate the team,
read aloud some of the generous reviews we've received, and have some fun. We'd like to share some
pictures of this afternoon's celebration -- and the raucous aftermath that followed -- and say thanks
as well to all the players who have helped make the game's launch in North America, Australia, and New
Zealand so successful. Enjoy!

have worked diligently to create their maps and have worked closely with Blizzard to fine-tune and test them: Bill307 and Taylor "Mora" Fales.
